Hello Rotarians - Thank you all for your support & continuing in all the great work you do. It’s been a great first week in the Rotary Year. Once again, our Club is off to an amazing start.
Last week we inducted our new Board of Directors - congratulations to our new Executive & Directors: Past-President James Kay, President-Elect Stuart Dickson, Vice-President Lenetta Perry, Treasurer Dick Dumond, Secretary John Walker, International Service - Kathy Butler, Fundraising - Carol Eamer, Club Programs - Kevin Greenwood, Public Relations - Guy Auger, Membership - Roger Powley, Community Service - John James, Club Socials - Dave Cullen, Youth Programs - Dale Briggs and DGE & Rotary Now - Peter Schultz.
Last week our Membership Director distributed our committees list - in hopes to invite/recruit volunteers to a few key areas- please make sure you are signed on into at least committee. Our Club Programs Director is also looking for Chairs for a few Committees - please step up and get involved. Our Club achieves so much because we all get involved and pull together.
Social Media - please like and share Rotary Club of Kelowna's posts on Facebook. Last week's post reached almost 1300 people - and we got one potential member out of it!
Thanks to all who joined the Rotary After 5 last Thursday at Montana's. Please consider inviting a colleague or friend to join us at our socials and our meetings.
Our Vice-President Lenetta Perry will be the MC for Tuesday's meeting and our guest speaker will be Corie Griffiths - Executive Director of Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission - giving us an update on the local economy.
