  • Remember we are GUESTS at the facilities we have our meetings in!  We have sent a gift box of chocolates and card to the staff at Accelerate Okanagan to thank them for their hospitality.  If you want to contribute to this fund Karyn will collect, and any excess will go to a "social" fund for future get-together.

Please check out our website.  It is a "sub-page" of the Rotary Club of Kelowna site (www.rotarykelowna.org), where you will see a link like the one at the left of this message on the home page.  It does NOT require member sign-in, so it is a good place to send your interested friends to get some info about Rotary Now! Kelowna, including the Speaker Series details.
 
NOW for the help!  You will see pages (links on the left) for "Projects & Events 2018" as well as 2019.  On the 2018 page I put a few pictures (THANK YOU Rosemary Kean!) and a few words about our session wrapping presents for the Kelowna Women's Shelter on Monday 10 December.  You will see headings with no info for RibFest and Fox Hunt (neither of which I was at!)  Looking for one of you to volunteer to write up a few words about either of these if you were there!  If you can find a picture or two that would be even better!  Send to me and I will get it on the website.
 
CLUB YOGA SESSION:
 
We are booked!  Sunday 3 February, 2:00pm at Roberta Fidalgo's home studio in West Kelowna (YET Yoga - Your Edge of Transformation).  She will be leading us in the "Renew" session for ~1 hour (see attached info).  Room for first 10 only (sorry, 9 now... I'm definitely in for this one!).  If you want to join us, please email me (RotaryNowKelowna@gmail.com).  By the way, if you are lucky enough to score one of these spots she says you need to bring:
  • comfortable yoga attire
  • yoga mat
  • water bottle
  • smile, open mind and willingness to try something new!
