Ryan gave a well organized talk about the Kelowna Rockets Organization, dividing his address into three topics: -

An inside look of the Juniour Players
The Scholarship Program
Breakdown of the 16 - 21 year old young men.

He started by explaining that there were players who were at an age where they attended high school at KSS and their schedule was much different from the players who were not attending high school. It was apparent that they all had a very busy day, with a great deal of time on the ice.

As they were all billeted, they also had a very regimented day with lights out at 10.00 PM each day. It was also important for them to conduct themselves properly and adhere to a very strict dress code.

The organization was obviouly generous and provided each of the players with the financial means to attend one year at university or trade school if they played even just one game at the WHL level.

In addition the players were provided with varying gifts such as ipads or cell phones. These were based on a points system and were apparently related to their successes as players.
