Welcome to October! I sit here at Big White watching the snow come down pausing to reflect on Rotary, what we do, why we do it, and the joy we get from Service Above Self, knowing our efforts are Making A Difference.
It was truly amazing presiding over our meeting last week, being able to welcome five new Rotarians to our Club: Ken, Michelle, Grace, Myron, and Sandy - this is your Club, we welcome you with open arms, and ask you to share your passions and wishes so we can ensure a long and rewarding Rotary career.
Welcome to Economic and Community Development Month in the Rotary Calendar. We have many activities planned: After 5 THIS THURSDAY at Tree Brewing, Major Project consideration, seeking a Rotary At Work project, planning a Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Fireside Chat, and World Polio Day is October 24th. These are all in addition to the great work you are all doing in our committees. Please keep it up.
