A very big 'thank you' to our Vice-President Lenetta Perry for running her first, very successful meeting of the year (she enjoyed it so much that she wants to run a meeting every month - way to go Lenetta!).
Corie Griffiths - Executive Director of Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission - gave a great presentation on the economic climate of Central Okanagan. Who would have guessed that Central Okanagan is British Columbia's fastest growing Census Metro Area. If anyone is interested in the powerpoint presentation, please let me know and I will forward it to you.
This week's guest speaker is Drew Vincent of Okanagan Young Collective. OYC is an organization created to attract and retain young professionals to the Okanagan Valley. Drew will highlight on all the many activities that his organization organizes to create a vibrant, dynamic culture and community for young professionals.
Big week in Rotary - our first Board Meeting of the year is this Thursday at 4pm at the Innovation Centre - everyone is welcome to attend the Board Meeting.
