Welcome to Sunday, Rotarians,

Another super meeting last Tuesday. It was ‘Poor Boy’ lunch day – and all the money raised will go to the Salvation Army. And, we had the pleasure of starting the meeting with some great jokes from Dale Briggs.

Sarah Campbell updated us on all the work that the Community Donations Committee are doing (see attached report). She also brought forward motions from Community the Donations Committee for local projects.

In ‘The Days Gone By’ segment, Sharron Simpson shared stories of Kelowna in the 1930's and Bernd Dinnert shared stories of Berlin from 1948 - 1961. Thank you both so much!

Thank you to all that participated in the Christmas Caroling at Society of Hope (the new Pleasantvale) – see pictures below. A big thanks to Sheldon Paulger for organizing this.

So many Rotarians were out ringing the bells in support of The Salvation Army Central Okanagan Red Kettle Campaign over the last 2 weeks, including our exchange student Chiara.

A very big thank you to everyone who took time out to do this – and thanks to Ralf Rohrlack for organizing this for us!

Coming up:
This week is our Christmas program – make sure you attend as Jaime is putting together an amazing program!
Club Board Meeting is this Thursday (December 20th) at 4pm at the Innovation Centre – everyone is welcome to attend.
