Happy Thanksgiving Rotary:

Today's the day to focus on the positive and to be thankful for the many blessings we do have!

Another great meeting last week - with Marjolein Lloyd talking about Shelter Box and Don Compton educated us on Proportional Representation. This is a very important referendum so please make sure you vote - your vote counts!

And, thank you to all that showed up for Rotary After 5 at Brandt's Creek Pub.

We have another great guest speaker lined up for this week - Helen Jackman, Executive Director of United Way will highlight all that is happening in her organization. And we will have our own Murli Pendhakar speaking about the Medical Equipment initiative.

A reminder that Rotary World Polio Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Oct 24th at 6pm at Michaelbrook Golf Club - contact Carol Eamer for tickets and more details.

District 5060 Fall Assembly is Oct 26-27 at Campbell's Resort in Chelan, Washington. There are only a few tickets left so please register as soon as you can. For more details contact Peter Schultz.

If you have a spare moment over the next few days do something nice for someone you don't know. It doesn't have to be a big thing just a random courteous gesture to spread some good will!

Thanks for Giving,

Raghwa
