Welcome to Sunday, Rotarians;

I really enjoyed Dr. Jim Crandell's classification talk at last week's meeting - could have listened to him for another half an hour! And we also got a great update from Habitat for Humanity and a bit about their Lake Country project.  We had a very productive Board meeting on Thursday, so please know your Directors and Committees are working tirelessly to get things done.  This week's meeting is not to be missed: the Rotary Club of Kelowna Foundation AGM - where 7 members are vying for 4 positions on the Foundation Board - come be a part of this key next step in OUR Foundation.

This Wednesday, October 24th is World Polio Day.  Our club will unfortunately not host "The Worlds Greatest Meal to Help End Polio" fundraiser. Anyone interested in donating to this great cause, in lieu of the dinner fundraiser, can contact Carol Eamer.

Fall Assembly is this weekend (Oct 26-27) in Lake Chelan - interested in attending - contact Peter Schultz. Also this weekend is 'Fill The Bus Food Drive" (Oct 27th & 28th) at Save-On-Foods - contact Kim Dorcas to sign up.

JoeAnna's House ground-breaking ceremony is this Tuesday (Oct 23rd) at 11am - at JoeAnna's House Build Site (Corner of Abbott St and Royal Ave) - all are invited to attend.

I'm hoping you're finding the right balance of Fun, Fellowship, Fundraising, Impact, and all that keeps Rotary a priority for you.  Please reach out and chat if there is anything I or others can do to help you get involved, engaged, or enjoy your Rotary journey even more.

All the best, see you Tuesday,

Raghwa
