ROTARY BEACH

Rotary Beach was initially developed by the Rotary Club of Kelowna on the west-side of the lake near the ferry dock.  Residents of the day have fond memories of walking off of the ferry and enjoying the beach, the clean water and the shade in the afternoon afforded by the background embankment.  The beach was located on Westside First Nation leased land, and when the lease expired the Club was forced to look for a new facility. 

A spot was found on the city side of the lake, but it needed considerable work.  

The Club organized that work so that residents today can enjoy this wonderful facility.
