CONSTITUTION
1. The name of the Society is ROTARY CLUB OF KELOWNA FOUNDATION
2. The purposes of the Society are:
- to receive money and other assets by way of gift, donation, bequest or otherwise, and administer and invest the same within the guidelines of the Investment Policy Statement of the Society in effect from time to time;
- to conduct or supervise campaigns and other activities for the solicitation of gifts, donations and bequests;
- to use such gifts, donations and bequests and income from the investment of such gifts, donations and bequests to make gifts to qualified charitable organizations as described in the Income Tax Act (Canada), and for the development of community projects which are for the benefit of the people of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
