At last week's club meeting we heard from Jim Belshaw of Shoe Bank Canada, a classification talk by Roger Powley and our rebound student Colette.
Jim Belshaw shared about the incredible work that he and his organization are doing by providing good footwear to those in need here in Canada. Shoe Bank Canada is growing and providing a much needed service in our own back yard. Thanks for joining us Jim!
Roger Powley shared a fascinating classification talk about his background in the military (along with some very interesting stories), through his time working in the corporate world to most recently working in education. We're very happy to have you as a Club member Roger, along with the wealth of knowledge and experience that you bring!
Colette shared about her time away as an exchange student, and her gratitude for this life changing experience and how it's affected her. We appreciate you coming to share with our Club Colette, and that you're time away as an exchange student had the positive impact that it did!
