Top O’ The Weekend To You! Thanks to all who continue to step up and keep our Club as the very best Service Club in Kelowna.
This week saw our first Board meeting of the new Rotary Year. Your 14 Directors are working very hard to keep us along an exciting path and direction. The Board meetings are open to all club members, and the minutes have been added to ClubRunner, so once logged in, click Organization and RCoK Board Meetings for all the latest info. Please consider joining us at least once this year, and more importantly, feel free to reach out to any Director any time to know more.
We have three exciting events upcoming: Dale is looking for volunteers to assist with a downtown cleanup, Dave is organizing our next After 5, and Kevin is coordinating a Volunteer Breakfast. Please come and participate and let’s make a splash in our community.
Two asks for the week: please invite a colleague out to enjoy this week’s luncheon – our speakers are most amazing and it will be a great session. Also, we have a contentious decision coming before the Club this week I ask for everyone to stay true to Rotary values and integrity: let the 4-Way Test guide us, and I ask you all to demonstrate the qualities and characteristics of true Rotarians: speak up for what you believe in, and let’s do it with class, fairness and through the requested channels to ensure a fair process.
